Good chemical resistance.Offers maximum light transmission without
disturbing hot spots; great for edge lighting and backlighting. Half the
weight of glass and impact resistant. Unaffected by moisture and offers
high strength to weight ratio. Excellent thermoforming; easily
heat-formed without loss of optical clarity. With cast acrylic there is
about 5% - 10% thickness tolerance but is usually less than 5%.
